Successful Completion of the Training on Process Monitoring and Control Techniques
On 19th and 20th of June 2024, took place the “Training for tannery staff on process monitoring and control techniques”, organized under the Project ‘Capacity building to the Mongolian vegetable tanned yak leather cluster on bio-leather and bio-leather products’ (SYL Project) funded by the EU, within the framework of the SWITCH-Asia Grants Programme.
The Training was targeted to provide technical advice and support to establish enhanced process monitoring and control techniques, such as using up-to-date analysis and testing methods, with scope to correct issues immediately. A spectrum of topics was addressed, such as: i) the consequences and costs of the existing monitoring and control procedures; ii) the introduction to the scope for improved monitoring of parameters, the analysis of results and appropriate control measures; and iii) the use of inline detectors for monitoring temperature, salt, pH, flow rate, etc. providing scope for integration within enterprise resource planning (ERP).
