On 11th of January 2022, took place the online kick-off meeting of the newly launched SWITCH-Asia project titled “Capacity building to the Mongolian vegetable tanned yak leather on bio-leather and bio-leather products”, which contractually started on 8th of December 2021.
The goal of the kick-off meeting was to discuss thoroughly the key points of the implementation of the SYL Project, the project workplan, the financial and reporting guidelines, and other topics of interest. The main discussion centered on the ways in which the project will contribute to the reduction of the environmental impact of pollution, the improvement of resource efficiency, and the adoption of circular economy practices in order to allow members’ integration to global greener value and supply chains.
All partners expressed their ambition to successfully complete – and even exceed – the expected results of the action, while the local partners have shown deep commitment to this 4-year project.
